Limited Lifetime Warranty
This warranty is divided into seven specific parts, each outlined below:
Metalwork
A Limited Lifetime Warranty is provided for all metalwork and framework, including welding and materials used in collision repairs. This warranty covers cracking, flaking, pitting, and deterioration but excludes rust repairs.
Mechanical Repairs
A Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to all mechanical repairs directly related to the original collision damage.
Parts
A Limited Lifetime Warranty covers new parts installed by or at the shop, starting from the effective date of the warranty. If the manufacturer’s warranty is different, the shop warranty will not exceed or conflict with the manufacturer’s terms.
Exclusions
The following items are not covered under this warranty:
- Incidental Costs: Expenses such as towing, car rentals, travel, or any components not directly addressed by this warranty.
- Consequential Damages: Damage to other parts or systems caused by a defective part or its installation.
- Rust Damage: Surface rust, rust-through, and damage caused by rust on interior or exterior panels.
This warranty represents the full extent of the shop’s commitment and responsibility. It does not cover any other promises or guarantees beyond those explicitly stated.
Customer’s Obligations
To benefit from this warranty, the vehicle owner must:
- Present the original copy of this warranty document to Quigley’s before requesting any repairs or parts covered under the warranty.
- Ensure all warranted repairs, adjustments, or inspections are performed exclusively at Quigley’s premises during regular business hours.
Terms and Conditions
- This warranty is strictly as written and cannot be modified, supplemented, or interpreted based on prior agreements or dealings.
- The warranty becomes void if any repairs, adjustments, or alterations are performed by an unauthorized person or entity.
- This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original vehicle owner.
The shop will repair, repaint, or replace warranted items, provided the claim is made while the original owner retains the vehicle. However, the warranty does not cover damages caused by unreasonable use, improper maintenance, or neglect. Any unauthorized tampering or adjustments will render this warranty null and void.
